I've told a couple of people about an app for the iPhone and iPod touch that works as a camera remote shutter release. It is designed by onOne Software and currently is only for Canon cameras, but the Nikon versions is now currently in the works. Right now it is at an introductory price of $1.99 for a Lite version which only allows for shooting only and $9.99 for the Pro version which allows for full control over the camera. If you have an iPhone or an iPod touch I would take a look at this video that shows the app in action.

hey John,
I have a lightroom problem, I don't know if you know anything about it, but i thought I'd ask. The catalog I was using is now a corrupt catalog. It said that it turned off prematurely and somehow damaged my catalog, so I opened a new catalog and imported the corrupt catalog into it. well, the one worked for a day or so, but the next day i tried to open it, it said that it was also corrupt and could not be repaired. so I recently made a brand new catalo, and imported a back up of the old catalog, but it's missing a lot of edits I had made. I'm just not sure if there's any way to retrieve them. Do you know anything about this? sorry to ask on vacation time!
p.s I love this iphone app. it almost makes me want to buy one.
oh and you can e-mail me back instead if you want hongkongcarly@gmail.com
thank you!
