Well, yesterday Krista brought in Dino Cookies, yum. After trying to decide what one of the cookies was for a long time with Grace and Clayton, we finally figured out that it was a stegosaurus not an alligator. With that taken care of, Clayton decided to eat the Purple Tyrannosaurus Rex that looked a little like Barney. Thanks to Krista for the cookies.

The Adventures of Cory
Yah well, it’s a bit cheesy for a title but it’s late, and I’m just having a little fun. So was Cory tonight while he was jumping around and posing for new MySpace photos. Yes, I am now a Professional MySpace Photographer, or at least that is where most of the pictures I take of my friends end up. There is nothing better then a new Profile Pic.
Smoking at Twilight
Well a slight change of pace. This time it wasn’t quite as dark out but still good images for the series.
Krista's Work in the Flooting Wall Gallery
I think this might just be the first time Krista's work is being showed at the school. Krista’s first show was at BC Space for Jerry's Conceptual Class, and now she is being recognized for her outstanding work along with Jillian Davis and Raul Gonzales.
My New Dew
Well, Grace and Krista finally got me to get another hair cut. This time I had Krista document it with my camera. I actually like my hair cut short, but I never know exactly what style to go with. I’ve been putting it off for just that reason. Krista’s schedule opened up and off we went. Here is what happened.
The Campus at Night
I was going to the bookstore last night and looked out to the theater building and stopped. The lighting was great so I went back up to the department and grabbed my camera.
While I was out, I also wanted to take a picture of the new Administration Building. I was more drawn to the blue and orange lights.

Continuing to Smoke
Grace was on another break and again I went along with my camera. I am still thinking of what I am going to do with the series when or if I ever finish it.
On a Smoke Break
I've started to bring my camera more when Grace goes out on smoke breaks. This time I wanted to play with the ambient light and her smoking. It is a work in progress but one i will get plenty of practice at.

Just Another Late Night
I was just hanging around the Photo Department like usual when Grace decided to go out for a smoke break. While I was out there Cory started to play on a pole and I just started shooting.
I also found Krista that night setting up for an in class photo shoot. Although it might have been stressful working on a deadline her team managed to get some great shoots.
Week 5 Wedding Class
This week we went out and around the campus learning to compose our shots with framing and perspectives. It was just another fun day in the sun, or at least the hazy day kind of sun.
Cynthia this was one of my favorites that day. Thank you.
Grace thinks this looks a little like a Max shot. Im not to sure about that.

Late Night
I was just another long night at the photo department. During one of Grace's smoke brakes I went out and snapped a couple of shots of her husband Randy.
Shooting Manual
This was a fun assignment to test the class on using our cameras in manual mode. This is a sample of the images that i turned in.

Looking for Architecture and found a Fountain
The other day I went out with Grace looking to find some good architecture to work with for a conceptual class assignment. I was just testing out ideas that I might want to do for a final project but after just a short time at the Cerritos Library we were both caught up by a fountain that was there. It was a great time and showed me that my architecture idea was really going to go nowhere. Now with the revelation that a fountain can distract me from my final project concept, it looks like time to find a new one.
Week 2 Wedding Class
It was bring your camera to class day. Greg checked our knowledge of how to use our cameras under low light situations, and shooting as wide open as possible.
The class also was able to see what Greg carried in his bag of tricks to a wedding. Besides an assortment of lenses and camera bodies, depending on the venue, he would bring lighting equipment.
Shots taken during class.
After class just hanging out at the Photo Lab.
